Default Need Everyone To Read !!

we need help !!! right NOW THANX for reading

This new bill means that you don't have to street-race. You just need to have something on your car that somebody else decides could be used for street racing.

this is an artical in a mag that will tell you whats going on. After is a link to a artical please read it.

Oh, well then, that's clear.

What is "prescribed equipment"? What is a "prescribed substance"? What are "prescribed circumstances"?

with this some bureaucrat or police officer might decide that you wouldn't need wider tires than those that came with your car, unless you were planning to go street racing. In fact, there's nothing in this bill to prevent said bureaucrat or officer from deciding that the tires that did come with your car are wider than you need.

I think the gist is to keep an eye on heavily modified cars..... Are they gonna stop people for having a K&N and some minor suspension and wheel mods? Probably not. Will they tag people with 19" wheels, the car lowered to the ground, and turbos and nitrous and a bazooka exhaust? You bet. And that I have no problems with. There's no need to have a race car as your every day driver. Clubs and meets, sure. But to drive to work or school or to get milk, come on. They want to curb the ricers and the muscle cars (Camaros with high lift cams, drag slicks, and an oversized hood scoop). I think its not so bad. But, then again, Canada is not as easy on that stuff as the U.S. is to begin with..... radar detectors are banned in almost the whole country. That I do have a problem with.

YES !!!! these things are beeing targeted already K&N YES wheels not yet but suspension is being targeted already.

turbos and nitrous and a bazooka exhaust?
YES!!!! everything is being targeted that adds to the power of the car.

so u don't think its that big of a problem ?? well a few ppl i know have gotten tickets for super white headlights, colored fog lights, K&N filters, headers, brake rotors, upgraded brake kits, Alatza lights that have all the right bulbs but hay they will give u a ticket anyways right NO!!:madfawk: . the hell with that

This crap is getting out of hand i have been pulled over for having 17" rims, what the **** IS THAT!!! then he wants to look under the hood, honk my horn, put on my turning signals, then he asks me how many speeding tickets i have, i tell him 1 about 4 years ago, so he does a check and comes and tells me im a liar im thinking what ??? he says I have a role stop also, im thinking ya i know but he asked me if i had speeding tickets ?? dumb ASS:madfawk: :screwy: can’t they just pull u over when u do something wrong ??

this has happened many times the COPS are :tfg: up hear. These days they set up about 4 road blocks down the main streets to get to the car shows that way they can pull over every fixed up car that passes.

They can't stop you for a K&N... it's an OEM filter replacement. That's like giving you a ticket because you used a FRAM oil filter.

Would this law apply to exotics like Ferraris and Lambos?

It's common sense. If you make your car like the Slow and the Frivolous, you draw too much attention to yourself to begin with. There's no need to have Altezzas, superwhites (which really are illegal to begin with when you are talking headlamps), a 10 foot spoiler that doesn't even match the car, and so much done to your car you look stupid. But just for a K&N and minor simple mods the cops aren't gonna care. Trust me. If it looks obviously stupid, sure. But if your car is still conservative, there won't be any problems.

I know I, and other people would like to have SR20 powered 240s. This law would stop us. Then again it coulbe an an OEM replacement....

I know someone who has been stopped and they have a bone stock 00 SiR, and they were driving to school, and were pulled over, and the cops gave them the run down. Street racing is a problem up here, but they dont do enough to support local tracks(which are crumbling)
