 This fucking SUCKS

After the Z4, I was was willing to give Chrissie another shot at designing a nice looking car. But this SUCKS. What the hell was wrong with classic BMW design? I suspect the current M5's residual value may start rising in a few years.

I think I've made my feelings on the E60 clear :a:

basically BMW will haveto make it up in 5 years with their next batch of cars... so far I am not impressed at all..

Z4, 7, the 5, the 6, the 3, 1 as for the M series.. they can give that bltch all the horsepower up its @ss and aggresive body attachments.. but it's still going to wreak of a Banglized BMW.

Mercedes must be loving this over at their main HQ

Well I guess I am in the minority here. From what I have seen I really like the exterior...if the interior is along the lines of the current 5 this will probably be my next car...in about 4 years.

you're going to have to qualify that statement because for me the exterior does not go along the lines of the E39 at all.

it has sloping lines everywhere in a vain attempt to make it sporty/aggressive but the end result is that it just looks like another puffed up fucked up banglized design.

the car nolonger looks aggressive.

Actually, the overall exterior doesn't look too bad..... maybe, I would say the head design is too challenging to me.... Otherwise, I kinda like this car too. I have to check out its final pictures before I can make my conclusion. Hopefully, they will slot the turbo engine they have shown in the concept.

Reread my post...I said I liked the exterior and want to see the INTERIOR hoping it will be along the same idea as the current 5.

oops my bad, but exterior is horrid.

for my future sedan purchases I'll be sticking to the older E39 or looking at other makes rather then bmw.

I like it...at least the side-profile view. The front ends looks a little unfinished. The rear isn't too bad. The beltline is a little high being "ultimate driving machine." But, overall, good.

I think I'm gonna join the minority here. I think BMW's latest designs, yes - including the new 7, are awesome. Of course styling is subjective, but I think the 7 is certainly revolutionary. Certainly more daring than the LS430 or S-class. However, I Just saw the new Audi A8 at the Chicago auto show - looks like money.

The next 5 will most likely be the same way...although I'll need to see those sagging headlights in person....I just don't understand why people hate the new BMW designs(??)

Remember when the last 3 series came out in '99? People called it a bloated Audi. But now, you don't hear that anymore. As a matter of fact, there isn't a line on the 3 that I would change. I think BMW's designs tend to grow on a person. I guess time will tell.

Just my two cents, I guess.
