Very, very bland, but seems versatile. It'll sell fairly well.

I am thinking it will sell more than the Tundra, but not even close to the F 150. Its success depends on marketing and how it does in the car\truck mag reviews. Now the F150 is all new for 2004 and so is the Titan. Nissan drivetrain is obviously better, but that doesn't mean it is the better truck.

MT Truck of the Year will go to???

Nothing will ever sell as well as the F-Series and Silverado, because all versions are included in their sales. That means F-150, F-250, F-250 SuperDuty, F-350 SuperDuty, F-350 SuperDuty's that have tow truck backs to them (ie commercial use), and so on and so forth. But I guess that's fair, they are selling them.

:slap: The Tundra has had a V8 since day 1. V6 came on base model.

By first generation he meant the T100, Toyota's first generation full-size truck (although the current Tundra is in it's first generation design). The T100 offered a V6 only.

yes, but i wouldnt call the T100 a Tundra. They are not alike. Maybe a Replacement, but they are different trucks.

Of course T100 is not a Tundra. But the fact still stands that the T100 was Toyota's first attempt at a full size truck. Of course they are different trucks because T100 was a failure and Toyota learned from its mistake and make the Tundra better, but still not good enough.

Agreed. F-150's are used by the government, commerical purposes, and fleet sales, not to mention actual public sales. Last year, they sold over 900,000 F-Series variants.
