Maybe if you cross your eyes while drunk and looking at it upside down.

not sure if this has been stated, but I was talking to the guy i know at the Lexus dealership. he had just gone to a reigonal meeting where they were doing an overview of this vehicle. He said one of the models that will come out is a hybrid version with a 0-60 time of 8 seconds.

Not bad at all for a hybrid with all that weight to lug around.

i think it could happen, especially since they need to start sooner or later..... considering toyota wants a hybrid offered in all models by 2010. Only 6 yrs.

why?? i think most car compaines are aiming for hybrid & fuel cell technology.... BUT, IMO i dont think a hybrid option is needed in ALL vehicles.

Because Honda does not set stupid goals for themselves. Setting a date in the automotive industry is one of the stupidest things to do. Honda will have IMA in most, if not all of their cars, at the same time, if not sooner, than Toyota.

I never said a hybrid won't happen, but the performance specs are a bit waaaaaay optimistic.

Your numbers don't add up. 2010 is a little over 7 years away. But I have heard that they do want all or most of their new cars to have optional hybrid systems. The rx330 would make sense to be hybrid especially since they are all wheel drive.
