As I have said before, I knew a Chinese (that is, from China) chick in college who bought a 2001 Accord simply because its resale was higher than the Camry. After all, when she graduated and went back, she had to sell the car.
I didn't talk to her much after that ... buying a Honda just for the resale!

I think he's angry because she perverted his complete pure and non-physical love toward Accord

i am also surprised that saturn resale values are so high. funny that hyundai is higher than ford, pontiac, chevy and dodge. :chuckles:
well first; you didn't sit in the TSX and get the same shit, so maybe they wouldn't have said anything. you never know until you try. second; you're comparing a luxury car dealership with at least some reputation, to a near bottom of the rung economy car dealership that [desperately] sells sub-standard cars made by a rapidly failing company. not saying that it's justified, but what do you expect? as sad as it is, luxury dealerships (acura included) don't have to treat everyone that walks in the door like a million bucks in order to sell cars. saturn dealerships do. a kid that is neither with his parents, nor looks like a rich, stuck-up brat isn't going to get very favorable attention at any luxury dealership.

When I went to test drive the Lexus IS 250, I went right after work. So I still had on my button down and khaki trousers.
It's oakay to wear blue jeans and a t-shirt to a Chevy dealer, but I'd think twice when going to an Acura or or other luxury dealer.

I probably dress more conservatively than a lot of other "young people," out of preference. Even in college, although I wasn't a fan of belts for a few years there. I haven't worn jeans in YEARS. I think this helps when I'm in stores and restaurants... with a clean shirt, pants, belt, and combed hair (left side part), they are more willing to deal with you. Not that anyone at Burger King cares per se, but sometimes I think it does help.
But car dealers are used to 50-year-olds with money. I don't know how many 30-somethings are out there doing crazy financing to get their first BMWs, but I think it might be prevalent.
