Those are conceptual sketches yes......but they are not the original concept, which makes me believe that we'll be seeing a lot of what's shown in those sketches in the production version.
This is the actual concept from a few years back:

Yes there was in fact an RDX concept a couple of years ago. The concept that's coming out for the 2005 Detroit show is still a concept but it has more similarities with the production model. I don't think it's like the "concept" versions of the TL and RL which were essentially the production models with big wheels.
Acura’s going crossover with it’s upcoming RD-X Concept, set to make its first appearance on the world stage at this year’s Detroit show. The concept will loosely represent a look at Acura’s upcoming SUV, set go on sale in 2006 and likely to slot below the MD-X in pricing as a Acura’s entry-level sport ute. The goal, like many crossover-type vehicles, is to combine sports sedan performance with the added space and other attributes people crave in SUVs.
Acura is said to be packing plenty of performance and technology bits into the RD-X Concept. The vehicle’s styling features a wide track and bold fender flares. On the inside, the wood and leather interior is ‘based on the feeling of an upscale loft apartment’ according to Acura.
