do you have an aftermarket head unit? if so, on the harness off the radio you can cut the antenna remote wirethis wire is what makes the antenna go up. also, be careful not to confuse it with the remote wire, if you have external amps they will stop working. i would suggest you place a switch so you can put it up when you need it to.

go to the back of your trunk, open the rear plastic quarter panel on the left side, look for the power antenna motor, spot two wire plug, and disconnect. your radio reception is gonna suck ass after this... hope you got some good cd's/mp3's :goodjob:

get an alpine headunit. it only raises the antenna when you are listening to the tuner.

like i said in my other antenna post - just wire in a bypass switch. Switch it on, the antenna mast rises, when you want the radio. Switch it off, the antenna goes and stays down, when listening to a CD.

My antenna switch works great. Plus, it gives you that wonderful "Bling-Bling" of having custom installed switches in your interior.
