Default installed CAI now what?

I just finished installing a cold air intake on my 98 gsr. It came with a hose that runs from the valve cover to the intake. This hose replaced the stock metal one that is attached to another metal hose that I believe has antifreeze in it. Should I just leave the hose that isn’t hooked up sitting in the engine bay or would it be better to try to get the two apart.

Can you show some pics? I'm not really sure what you are talking about.

if you are talking about the one that goes to the valve cover and to the intake thats not needed just plug the hole in the intake and put a breather on the vale cover

I live by Columbia Ave. Here is what I plan to do after thinking about it. Take off the whole metal hose thing, replace the hose that the antifreeze runs through with a straight silicone hose, remove the red hose that came with the intake and put a small breather filter on the valve cover. Any other suggestions are welcome. Thanks.
