Default How much does it cost to replace wire set?

Integra 1988:
My mechanic said one of the spark plug wires has high resistance which was causing no starts.

I don't know how to DIY, that's why I asked for a quote. Besides a Chilton's costs money as well.

OMG spark plugs and wires are so freaking easy. If you dont have a spark plug socket i highly advise in investing in one or you may be able to rent the part from pep boys. All the parts shouldnt cost more than 40 or 50 bucks....I think :scratches his head: dealers will charge you for an hour in labor for a 15 minute job. You will save lots if you DIY.

Just get some OEM wires, then pop the hood and remove one wire. Find the new wire which matches this length and put the new one on in it's place. Remove the second wire and replace it with the new one... etc. Very easy, ten minutes, even if you've never even seen a wrench before. Just make sure they are on securly.
