i think chris was joking but if not i :dunno: anyways yeah there are specific ranges that the manual has to shift at to better conserve fuel...i think it was

Oh wait. I misread that wrong. I thought the lad was asking the most optimum shifting point in spirited conditions. I wasn't joking about that.

There's this thing called "common sense". Of course if there isn't room to go to 8360rpm, you go as close as you can without hitting the limiters.

daily i shift at bout 3 or 35 if i want to hear the intake and stuff like that. but daily saving gas 3.
and for peak pwer i looked at a dyno of my car and saw where the hp and torque intersect and shift there if im not mistaken its at 75 or so but i listen to the engine more than anything else
