Default hatch release prob.

my switch gimik isnt workin on my teg!!!
when i press the lock or unlock button it makes noise like it usually did and when i use the switch i hear somthin move but the hatch dosnt pop!! i have to use the key to open it... whats wrong with it?

The cable is probably slack, and therefore unable to release the cam & spring lock at the rear hatch. I'd grab a Haynes or Heims manual and check it out.

If the solenoid isn't actuating, you may have a continuity issue with your wiring. Check the ground wire first.

Did you perhaps wrap the metal hook with electrician's tape? Wrapping it too much lodges it into the release mechanism and it won't open.

i didnt wrap anything. it makes noise like it wants to do somthin...... but the funny thing is this morning it works???
