Default K&N Intake supposed to increase HP by 10%

Well I was searching for intakes for my GS-R ( ) and I came across this new one from K&N

http://www.knfilters.com/FIPK/fipk.htm

It's supposed to increase HP by up to 10%,

Some jeep gained 26 HP from it alone.
Any one heard of this? They have them for Integras, I'm thinking about getting one.
Found one for $205.

Comments, suggestions, flames?

If it performed at it's max, a stock gs-r could go from 170 to 187.

Sounds too good to be true.

I suppose the 10% is true for some particular cars (Jeep?) that have a very restrictive intake to begin with. We like to bash the intake resonator box & all that stuff, but I've seen much worse.

Get it & let us know. I've got the K&N replacement filter element, and it was barely noticeable.

The K&N FIPK is not new, and does not give an Integra a 10% horsepower improvement. The stock airbox is not that bad.

Note, they say "up to 10%," that is not a promise of anything. If it gives you -5%, they are not legally liable.
