Default need some opinions

time to make a big desicion for my car. NA or turbo? here are kinda my options:

swap in an integra type r engine and go NA
or
ls/vtec swap and eventually turbo it

what are pros and cons of both?

Keep your LS the way it is, build the block, and boost the hell out of it.

NA type r motor = higher revs, longer life span

ls/vtec + turbo = lotsa torque, more maintanence, not street legal

that's one helluva choice. a few questions you have to ask yourself is how much you're willing to spend, and what the car will be used for most... daily driver, drag strip, race track?

A built all motor ITR will not necessarily last longer, RPM has a common meaning Ruin Peoples Motors.

boosted LS VTEC = lots of problems. it might be fast, but have fun keeping it running. go for it if it isnt your daily driver

its a daily driver....doesn't greddy make a street legal kit for the gsr?

your post made me think of another question though..i work for min wage so which option means going faster for cheaper?

That's true. Yes greddy makes a kit for the GSR, you can make it fit on the LS. However, greddy is supposed to be releasing the LS kit, or should I say, Greddy is a bunch of slow bastards the kit was supposed to be out last Xmas.

faster for cheaper would be the greddy kit for your stock motor.

Whats a ls/vtec swap? Is it an engine from a GSR? GSR's only have vtec right? A little clarification please.
