Default spark plugs; how tight should they be?

I just installed some new plugs on my teg but I dunno how tight they should be.

Any ideas?

Oh by the way, I dont have a torque wrench, so I need you guys to be very general in the replies. For ex, "hand-tighten it" or "tighten it as hard as you can"... etc... you get the idea. If you tell me to torque it to xx ft/lbs, I will be clueless as to what that means.

Your help is appreciated!

If you don't have the plugs tightened tight enough the spark plug wires will pop off of the plugs. So I would just get the plugs pretty tight, not as hard as you can, but pretty snug in there. I know this because it happened to me.

only using the extension, not the wrench itself, finger tighten it. then use the wrench and give it another 1/4 turn.

You gotta get the feel down. Firm, but not overtightened.

Enough so that with light muscle into it, it doesnt go any tighter. Just apply light pressure and when its tight, its tight.

ummm get a torque wrench, and if u dont wanna do that, go borrow one.

13 ft lbs. for the spark plugs.

while its on topic, 80 ft lbs for lug nuts and 33 ft lbs for oil drain.

Those are the most common points i use my torque wrench on.
