That sounds like the same problem we had with the backup generator at work.

It was fuel related. We replaced the fuel pump which helped a bit. We also replaced the carburator (yeah I know Integras don't have carburators). That helped a bit. What we finally did was rigged up a tin can with a smaller hole in it to restrict the airflow going into the carburator since it was running too lean. So anyway, it could be anywhere down the line. Maybe you need to change the fuel filter, fuel pump, fuel lines, fuel rail etc...

Other than that, maybe one of your cylinders isn't firing? Checking your spark plugs costs nothing. There's a stethescope for narrowing down faulty machinery. It's basically what your doctor has but with a thin steel tube on the end. Run your engine and listen for stuff.

Someone mentioned a slipping timing belt. I'm not sure if that car has an interference engine, but if it does, then if your timing belt were slipping your valves and pistons would be shot by now. You'd have low power and detonation going on due to the damage.

Ok well, I finally got off my ass and changed the distributer completley and it seems to have worked. Has not left me stranded since i have done so. Thank you all for your input and help. =)
