vtec is 4400, secondaries kick in at 5800

My GS-R hangs with almost all NA 4-cylinder cars, and reaches 100mph+ pretty easily. When I needed my front wheel bearing changed, I got an 2001 automatic GS as a loaner and it was noticeably slower, but never got bogged down reaching 100mph+. Oddly though, the acceleration in the 1st gear felt better than my GS-R.

I wouldn't have believed it if I didn't see it for myself

Felt stable? lol. The car is not stable on a stock suspension, the spring rates are simply not high enough, and the shocks are not valved high enough. Stable like floating like a bitch maybe.

The car is also drag limited to 146mph or something, so pegging the speedo is really something that cannot be done on level ground without a wicked tailwind.

90 in 3rd for me, i don't drive fast anymore, but dropping 3rd at 75 will pull you up over 100 fairly quick...you shouldn't be dissappointed with a GS-R
