I bought H&R Sports...1.75 front and 1.5 rear...and am using stock shocks. The install on the rears was easy with the exception of 1 bolt and removing the fronts was cake. I bought spring compressors from Sears (commonly reffered to as "Widow Makers") and did the rears relatively easily. I could not compress the stock springs in the front enough and had to bring the two fronts to Midas to change them out.

Being my first time doing it the whole process took about a full day and I did it without the use of a Helms or any other manual.

most pple have problems removing the rear LCA bolt.... so you might want to go to a local tire shop and have them loosen the sucker first.

all you need are sockets. you can rent a spring compressor from autozone for free. they have a cool loan program. just leave them a $40 deposit. and youll get it back when you return it.

i just swapped springs on my car...it took me a good 8 hours all by myself. not too bad i guess. i ran into a few problems though.

what you can do now is to take off your wheels and get a feel for what needs to be taken off. get familiar with your suspension.

some tips...

-have a breaker bar ready
-penatrating oil
-take off the endlinks to the rear sway bar
-have lots of patients
-if you struggle with anything, dont lose your cool, if you are like me, youll break something h:

overall its not a hard mod to do yourself.
