Default Clutch SQUEAKS

when i press the cluth in or let it out, it makes a minor squeak noise and feels rough(kinda jagged feel) during the middle of pressing it down to the floor. i was thinking that maybe i should lube it but where, and would that fix the problem? my car has 40k on it and its a 01' integ. anybody have suggestions?

yeah its your throw out bearing. the part isnt expensive but the labor is. if your hold your foot on the clutchat stop lights then this may be a reason for it to be worn so early. you should never hold the clutch in unless you need to shift.

Unfortunately, it does sound like the throw-out bearing. This happened on my dad's Toyota Tacoma, but the mechanism that adjusts the spring-tension in the pedal was just out uf lube. Since I don't think the Teg has this, I don't know what else it could be...

It's your throwout bearing. Mine has been doing the same thing for a while, and I'm not dropping the tranny just to replace a stupid bearing. If I get a different block or tranny, then I'll do it...but until then, it gets driven like it is. It's been squeaking for a long time, and it's still fully operational.

mine squeaks on and off, i believe either 1) the slave cylinder needs a lubing (not hard), 2) the push rod that goes from pedal through firewall needs lubing, 3) the throw-out bearing is starting to go.

I had this problem too. I took it into the dealer. First, they replaced the master clutch cylinder and lubed some kind of fork. This didn't stop the squeaking so I had to bring it in again. Sure enough, it was the throwout bearing. They replaced it, gave me a new clutch assembly and everthing under warranty. This dealership is okay with me.
