Default venom 400 control module

I know someone has already asked this question, but I need some more opinions. Does the venom 400 module work? It claims up to 25% increase in hp. This seems impossible in a naturally asperated car. Thanks.

I dunno, I looked around, and I read a little bit on it and what it's supposed to do. What it seems to me is be a little thing that tricks the engine into running more richly than it should. This in theory should give you more power. On the other hand, A) Your fuel economy will be shit B) you can get excess, uncombusted fuel in your headers and cat, and when this would combust, cause you cat to melt down. These are the two immediate consequences that come to mind with untuned/untunable ECU managment on a Honda.

Not only that, there are a lot of more reputable engine management solutions that will let you do more then screw the A/F ratio for cheaper than that POS.

Though, disclaimer, I have no real experience with a Venom 400, but honestly, I would prefer it if it would stay that way...
