I looked at my car today in the sun, and saw all these swirl marks, back and forth designs, and little scratches everywhere. I was about 25 ft from the car too and it completely stood out and ruined its appearance. I'm thinking the previous owner had it buffed and they really screwed up. Can I get all the marks buffed out, will I have to get a new clear coat, and how much does it cost to get buffed? thanks

I recommend using "paint restorer" or compound....I used the the paint restorer made by 3M. Should only be around $3-5.

Get a Porter Cable polisher, or just one of those cheap buffers, and use 3M Swirl Mark Remover, or Meguiars # 9 Swirl Mark Remover. S100 Shine Enhancing Cleanser works great also.
