Default fill in wheel well gap or not?

I just have a question..
my car is lowered on 5 zigen r rates and i have the FUGLY ASS stock 14" steelies. right now the front wheels have just under a finger gap and the rears have 1 1/2- 2 fingers gap.
i was jusp wondering if i got 16" rims with falkens or kuhmos will the wheels create less finger gap? or will i just be the same makin the car look higher??
its kinda dumb but i just would like to know..
thanx

Gettin a set of 205/45/16's to go with your wheels might fill up some of that wheel gap.

ya i was curious, cuz some people around here have gotten rims on stock suspension, and it looks like the gap increased?
so i was worried that biggger rims might make more gap, because my car isnt slammed, its good right now. im glad itll decrease the wheel gap even more!

it has to do with the size of the rim and the series of the sidewall 45,55,65 etc.. as compared with the stocks wheel and tire specs

the more you close the gap and start to overlap the more chances you have of rubbing and also i got 17's on 40's and there is no gap and the wheel is just right i think because it doesnt look tiny in the wheel well. in other words it doesnt just fill the top of the gap but also around the sides a lil bit too.
