tinting is one of those things that comes with experience, and there is nothing you can do about it. you cant read a book and learn, you cant watch and learn, you have to do and practice, get your techniques, and then do it. I just suggest that you spend some good money (300 if a fvcking crack head price), I paid 145 and got a good quality tint job.

if you paid 300... you are either a) a rich bastard. b) a dumbass that got ripped off C) all of the above

I paid 145, with lifetime warranty on the tint and the guy that puts it on give a warranty for the labor.

ok this is how you should do it . go to a place and get it tinted cause tinting isnt easy and looks like crap if its not good film and film adhesive and all of that kinda crap. when you get the tint go ahead and get platinum tint because of the dot matrix. the tint wont stick to the dot matrix and with the platinum you cant tell at all but with charcoal you can tell easily. and you will have to end up gettin somethin put over it or something and make sure to tell them to tint your 3rd brake light if you have one

I wouldn't reccommend not doing it yourself because it prolly going to end up really fvcked up and its going to bubble up later on and thats just plain ghetto. Yea seriously $300 is way, I mean way to high for just a tint job, your ass got ripped off. I only paid $135 for a quality job and lifetime warranty.

You can do it yourself, but I can almost guarantee that it will not come out like a shop. I had my rear windows done for $160 and my front two for $60. It's so worth it to have someone else do it. You get a warranty on the tint, and a great quality.

if you had to ask if it is possible to do yourself....no.

it should be left to a reputable shop.

Also, make sure that the shop does the rear window with ONE piece of tint, rear windows with seams look like sh*t, and i have not seen a two piece job that i could not spot from 30 feet.
