Default Auto Teg 1/4 Mile Times

I have a 90 Teg GS with an auto tranny,
With 156,000 miles, The Tranny is a fresh Reman.
AEM Intake, Venom IM, Venom 10% over stock Inj.,
MSD Cap & Coil Conv.with a Blaster 2 Coil, Bosch Plat 2 Plugs,
Airmass Header, Hollowed-Out Cat,
Tanabe Super Racing Medalion CB.
I'm still on stock wheels with Michelin X One's
and stock susp.

Anyways, My best time through the 1/4 is 20.xx @ 73mph
I live in Scottsbluff, NE. Elev. 3880 ft.
Does this sound right to you guys?

I've never put it on a dyno,(don't know where one is
around here.) So I don't know if it's tuned right.
Besides, I don't really know how to tune on a dyno anyways.

Sounds a little high, I would expect 17-18 seconds for a 90-91 auto.
Hollowed-Out Cat,
Bad idea. If you want no cat, get a test pipe.

Guys at the shop will usually do it for you unless you ask to do it yourself.

A '90 Integra is decent and reliable, it's just not fast.

If you have nothing constructive to say, STFU and mind your own business, noob.

:werd:

Just because it is not fast, does not make something not reliable.

My buddys 1993 gs(auto) went 17.1 with i/h/e. Decent time for an auto but still slow as hell.

For those mods, it looks like you're running rather rich.

What things would cause a car to start running rich. I checked out my spark plugs the other day, and they have some white to it. I know that means that I am running rich, but how much of an effect does it have on a car? And what causes a car to run rich?

White means you are running lean.

Running rich is caused by a lot of things, oversized injectors, overly high fuel pressure, wrong ECU, bad sensors, etc.
