Default JDM TypeR Transaxle conversion

Hello all knowing ones. I have a tech question for you. I recently aquired a JDM Type R transaxle. My daughter and I have a pretty serious LS project car going. I was just thinking....(problem for sure)....are the LS axle stubs the same size as the Type R? I know the outers are bigger and also of course 5 lug but I need to know if the LS stubs will fit the Type R LSD. Obviously I can throw the caliper on the axles myself but you folks I'm sure know the answer much quicker.

Thanks for your time!

so are you asking if the outer axle fit the LS hub? if thats ur question than no. JDM axles are bigger there 36mm i believe. US version is 32mm. and yes the Ls axle will fit the type r LSD.

as long as you keep the 4 lug hubs you should be able to use regular ls axles
