Default JDM engine question

I recently bought a 96 integra gs-r. I'm thinkin about putting a JDM B18C1 in it. However I know that there is no way to tell the mileage on these engines or tell how they've been treated obviously. I would just like to get some feedback from some of you guys who have purchased engines such as this one. How did it run? Where did you buy it? Did it have any mechanical problems either right from the start or after you ran it for a bit? Any info that I can get would be really helpful to me. Thanks

ummm doesn't your car already have a b18c1 in it??? why do you want the jdm one? Its only a tiny bit more powerful.

As for your question, my bud got one and it blew a tiny bit of smoke, there is really no way to tell. I think that you should just stick with your motor. if you do get another engine sell me yours

just rebuild your current engine. it'll prolly be a lot cheaper than buying another one.
