Well you can primer the car yourself to save money... I dunno about painting it yourself though. :chuckles: I know I wouldn't trust myself... But hey, must be a good experience.

its so much money to do the job CORRECTLY that your better off just selling your car and getting one in the color you like. when our cars are painted in the factory, they are painted with a very thin paint coat and the entire car is baked in an oven at 400 degrees (before all the electronics and such are put in) aftermarket paint jobs are usually worse and never as good as the factory because they cant be baked in an oven, and the paint is thicker which means it is easily chipped. its not worth it unless you got tons of money to get it doen right. sorry bro. and by the way, i have a black gsr and unless i wash it every other day it looks dirty as hell. black looks so nice when its clean but gets dirty way too easily.

nope.. lighter colors can hide dirt easier.. on a black finish.. the background is dark.. while the dust is lighter. It ALWAYS shows up more on a black car than a white.

This is so true. I can't go more then a day or two with out my car looking dirty, or seeing dust all over my car. My paint is a dark green.
