I swapped them with the H's and my friend with a 01' Civic put my acura emblems on his car, looks tight as all get out...haha sorry guys couldn't help myself...I'm just joking. I ended up leaving the A's on for two reasons, the H emblems we had to work with weren't in the best condition and two because I'm just a lazy s.o.b

Thanks for the discussion over it tho and helping me out, btw - what are you guys thoughts on just shaving everything clean?

I painted my emblems last summer w/ some light coats of metallic black Tamiya spray paint:

But now I have Honda emblems all around, all of which I got for free from friends, so why not? I like it.

an 'A' is an 'H', only the 'A' is more aerodynamic.

haha
actually...to be a dick... the A is less aero dynamic since it conveys air to collide at the pea of the A. The H has less horizontal space stopping air...

Shave emblems are clean.... but to me, they make the car look a bit extra plain. it kinda bothers me on tegs...their front ends end up being toooooo clean. IMO

Patrick, thats probably the only bad thing ive seen you do to your car from my opinion. I want to get the paint like the other guy painted his rims in the thread your started or just make them black chrome. would look on my black car.

Like I said, I didn't spend a dime on any of the emblems so who cares? Besides, my front painted emblem was looking REALLY crappy because I didn't clearcoat it. I really could care less if it has an A on it, and I like the H's, so they're staying.

Integramodder, the paint on that guy's wheels was professionally sprayed and wetsanded. I don't think it will be possible to get that kind of finish on tiny emblems. The actual black chrome emblems that come on some cars are plated, just like regular chrome plating.
