Its not the most forgiving car at high speeds. Its not build for it. But who cares about top speed its all about acceleration.
On a more serious note, if you're going to be careless and top speed your car make sure youre alone.

Some states like Maryland, I think, don't allow cops to continue chasing you if you are going faster than 110mph for fear of endangering other motorists. A few states also won't let them chase you unless you are a known felon. I can't remember what states (it wasn't Cali so I didn't really care) but I heard all of that on TLC so I guess it's true.

Well i for sure wouldn't suggest keepin your car at that speed. As far as how light it feels... yea once i hit 130mph... i was feeling pretty floaty. Dependin on wat ur suspension set up is... that may help a little but i doubt it. And at that speed it takes next to nothing to send you out of control into a wall.
As for cops... it'll take more than a squad car on the side of the road to catch you... trust me. 3 tegs including mine had to slow down after a run to around 140mph and watever cop spotted us had to call in a ghetto bird (helicopter) to catch us.. and by that time we were goin wit the flow of traffic so no hassle. But it was irresponsible on our part and would be to you as well regardless of the time of night. Safe driving my friend.

if they later cought up to you and pulled you over...couldnt you say that it wasnt you? (since they have no proff of it being you)

yah thats what i was thinking..
and also i think theres some law that if they dont catch you within 10 min of when they clocked you going fast.. they have no right to pull you over and give you a ticket
