Default power wire location

So... where can I poke a 8/10/12 gauge wire through the firewall without drilling? Or a safe location to drill? I'm trying to install an Alpine CDA-7894 and it says not to hookup the 12v wire to the dash. I'm thinking of using a 10-gague like the manual says, but I can't seem to find a "safe" location to drill or poke a hole. Would prefer not to drill.

Thanks.

There should be a hole in the fire wall below the brake booster.

behind the brake pedal you should see a rubber plug, that can be removed to open a hole through the firewall.

in your engine bay, where your batter is, if you take your battery out, this will be easier to get to, but if you are looking at your battery straight on from the front of the car, look about two inches to the right of it, and go straight down, you'll see a circular black rubber thang'y, hahaha, that's about an 1 1/2 in diameter, that plug goes straight through the firewall just pop it off, that's for the passenger side, but i find it cleaner since you don't have to drag a wire from one side of the car to the other in the engine bay, good luck.
