check the forsale forums here for parts
www.thepartstrader.com also has a lot of used and new parts for sale.
when it comes to OEM parts, sometimes its better to buy a used one for cheap than a brand new one from a dealer/distributor (like the ITR springs for example).

Tokico Blues (non-adjustable) and matched springs.
I can get a set of these (lightly used) for 250 shipped.
As I stated up top there ^ I don't want an extreme drop or overly harsh ride, and this is the max amount of cash I'm willing to spend.
Is this setup worth $250? or would I be better off buying springs only and riding on stock shocks?
I would think that unless there was some really bad feedback against this combo, it would be a decent enough setup--look better and perform better than a 90k+ stock suspension.

In order of importance:
tires
shocks
springs
rear sway bar
Personally if I wanted to go "cheap" with suspension bits I would get a set of Koni Special (a.k.a. Red) shocks and H&R Sport springs. That'd run you about $450. Yeah it's more than your budget, but it's also a lot nicer than the stuff you've been talking about.

On a performance spring, typicallly they are progressive in nature. This means they get stiffer the more you compress them, or the harder you push, the harder they push back. I absolutely could not believe the difference it made on the bug when I put the sporty springs on there(Of course, replacing 25 year old springs can't help but improve your handling), it out handled a 240 Z on a rally I did afew weeks ago. Get new shocks when you get the springs, you will be happy you did.
