where can u get a toda header for 850?? every shop online that can get toda can only get them at msrp, which is 925 at the toda website. places like ipsracing.com and randdmotorsports.com are selling them for around 980.

smsp and hytech can be had for around 1300. dont forget that comptech now makes a race header for the ITR for around 1000bucks.

actually toda header has a very good clearance, about the same as stock usdm header sits. u will hit your oil pan before u dent the header. now if u want to talk about bad clearance, the worst is probably the DC JDM 4-1.

toda is probably the best off the shelf header you can buy, without going a custom built one like hytech or smsp.

Exactly. I recall someone on HT picking one up for ~$850, but I haven't the foggiest where.

I'm real interested in getting one, but I just don't have the $$. Not to mention I'd rather buy a beater than an $850 header just to drive it through the winter.

The Comptech race header eliminates the catalytic converter, so it's technically illegal for street use.

well actually u can run a cat/testpipe with the header. considering its probably about the same length as smsp and hytech and they both offer cat/testpipes to go along with their longer header.

Hrm, didn't realize that, but here is the link from Comptech's site that I was referring to:
