Hey guys got a quick question. I found a really smoking deal on JDM front end kits for the integra's. Its like 1,800 for the hid kits . Now the guy told me it will come with everything but a bumper support. He said most people make their own, and dont even need one really. Any truth to that?? He mentioned that the jdm itr's do not have the bumper supports in japan. Any body have any pics of the bumper support???

Yup, they don't come with any bumper reinforcement. A friend of mine just modify a USDM reinforcement and make it fit.

its actually really thin and wont pass us bumper laws
you can modify the usdm one, you gotta cut and weld it up

1800 is damn low for a full kit with oem hids
make sure you make sure its not to good to be true

 

Make sure it is OEM and not a cheap fiberglass one.

The real JDM ones come with the bumper support!

 

It is the real ones off of the Jdm itr's. He says it comes with everything but i bumber support. He said there is no bumper support in japan?????. I found a site that you can modify your own so Im good.

also if hes saying there is no bumper support in japan he is wrong, so then if he is giving out wrong information with something that as simple as that what other things can he be misleading you on?

Damn, I didnt know it was that hard to install. So airon, are you sure there are bumper supports in Japan. These guys have been pretty nice to me and have never changed their story whatsoever. I will have to call them monday and see whats going on. I thought the rad support was just bolted on. looks like I have a project on my hands

 

Who is this that youre buying it from? A person or a business?

There is a bumper support on JDM Integras...like they say, it doesnt pass US standards.
