JDM front end question

the radiator support has to be welded in
and yes there is a jdm bumper support
there is a way to make it fit with the usdm rad support but you gotta do some cutting and welding

No I could see a deal around there. You can get HID front ends for ~$2200. If it didnt include the support, that drops it another couple hundred bucks. Then for a deal, $1800. But thats one hell of a deal.
Just make sure it is in fact a COMPLETE kit with all necessary brackets/supports etc. Buying these things piece by piece is super expensive.

I have never seen an OEM JDM front end conversion with HIDs for $2200, let alone $1800. Maybe some fiberglass knock off with cheap HIDs...maybe. Look at any reputable dealer and the kits are usually $3000-3300 for non-HID and $3700-4000 for OEM HID. These are complete kits with the radiator support, bumper support, hood, front bumper, headlights, and front 1/4 panels.

I know what you mean about the prices. Im just telling you what they are telling me. He said it comes with everything you need minus bumper supports. All metal all OEM. Ill have to give them a call to see exactly what i get and get some more information.

They do not have reinforcement in the doors or bumbers(on any jdm cars). Hence the reason that most real jdm cars weight less. My buddy has a prelude he got in japan(he is in the airforce) and he is trying to have it shipped here but before he can he has to get reinforcments put in the bumbers and door get a new cat and computer to drive it here.

The JDM bumper support is smaller, and will not pass US crash test standards. Thats how I understand it.
DVP - Prices have come down BIGTIME recently with the influx of JDM Importers. You dont have to rely on JDMHondaparts or Options anymore to get your $3000 non-HID conversions
PasswordJDM sells HID conversions for $2300 + s/h. Non HID for $1700 + s/h.
HID headlights usually go for MAX $1000...$1800 would be out of reality.

They have it for $3300...but you can also buy it piece by piece.

passportJDM has the front end but it is used...that is why the price is lower. It probably does not make a difference though.
