Default suspension questions

I want my 96 integra ls to turn better and have a smoother ride. However, i don't know a damn thing about suspension. I would like to know what i need and what else is needed to put these parts on my car. I don't want to take it to the shop to get them installed and not have all the proper parts. I also do not know what engine upgrade i should get next because i have made all the upgrades i know of.

cold air intake
exhaust
headers
short shifter

yes i know its pathetic. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

well turning better is easy. get performance springs/struts. about making the ride smoother, ususally the ride get rougher when you stiffen up the suspension. also sway bars and strut bars prevent body roll around the corners

When you upgrade the suspension with some performance springs and shocks your not going to get a smoother ride by my definition. I would say that you would get a sportier ride but I don't consider that to be smoother. As for what type of set up for your car depends on what you want to do with it and what type of performance you are looking for? To do this you need the following:
Jack and stands
socket and rachet set
spring compressor
Torque wrench
the suspension

I'm not sure but on the 2g's you have to replace the damper fork nut because it's self locking. Maybe someone else could verify this for your 3G. The next upgrade is going to depend on what the power goals are for the car. What would you like to achieve?

I want as much horsepower as i can get without speeding an arm and a leg on a turbo or supercharger. but then would it cost the same to get all other engine mods as it would to buy a turbo? Which is the best trade off? i want 0 - 60 in under 6 and more acceleration on higher gears.

0-60 in under six will be tough without Forced Induction. and your motor is a b18b non vtec, which means another problem. to get that fast you will need a lot of work. I don't know what to tell ya, you could do ls-vtec, but that is risky. I think a turbo with a slightly built motor would be the best solution. you could always just throw some NO2 in, that'll make you quicker

Those mod's are pathetic. You're well on your way to what your looking for in your ride. Keep it up. I mean not everyone has a ton of money to drop all at once you know.
