To get to that speed your going to have to go turbo or supercharger because it will most likely be cheaper and better reliability. If you chose to go all motor you will need to atleast to an LS/VTEC but must be done right or you will run into serious problems and this alone would be hard to reach those goals.

the first suspension mod would be to get some stickier tires, then maybe a good set of shocks: AGX KYB and Koni Yellows are popular.

I have the KYB AGX gas shocks and they are good. Its my coilovers that are horrible. The owner before me put them on, they are Ractive coilovers. I'm just telling you this so you don't buy them. I get horrible handling in the corners, so I think i'm going to buy some springs and then throw in some strut bars and sway bars and such and I hope that helps me out quite a bit because right now it sucks. If I were you I would go that same route by buying some nice springs and struts and some other goodies like struts bars. Just don't buy springs or coilovers that are cheap and crappy if you plan on wanting good handling in the turns.

Oh yea does anyone have any suggestions on some good springs that have good handling in the turns and won't slam my car so the tires rub when I turn hard. I'm just curious on what I should get if I get rid of my current coilovers.

if you only want a ~1" drop get Eibach Prokit... many pple swear by them, it gives ride quality comparable to stock...

I would want something lower then 1''. I can't stand wheel gap. Anything out there that lowers in the 1.5'' to 2.0'' range that still gives quality handling?

Since you already have decent shocks, $299 will get you Ground Control sleeves mated to Eibach linear-rate springs. 0-4" drop.
