Default ALL MOTOR build up

I am really confused about what I want to do to my LS obviously! I just want to smoke the hell out of big V8 guys and other cocky guys .I almost am thinking of going all motor then switch to turbo when I get a built block and head, all I'd have to change to turbo it would be lower compression pistons and other cams.

Anyway give me some info on some good All motor mods and other things I need to know

94' teg LS

ss header
Intake

seems fast but want alot more

to beat a V8 in your 4-banger LS is going to cost a lot of money...probably more than you're willing to spend on an N/A 4 cylinder.

just some things to keep in mind:

-cams
-cam gears
-underdrive pulleys
-valve springs & retainers
-valves
-connecting rods
-pisons
-crank shaft

and after all that, and you're probably going to want a stroker kit. This creates more displacement in the block (someone correct me I'm wrong on this part) thus creating more torque. So, right now you've got a 1.8 liter displacement. After a stroker kit, it could be anywhere from 1.9 to almost 2.3 liters.

However, all that I listed above is going to cost you somewhere in the range of OVER $4,000 dollars, not including installation and tuning. After all this, you're also going to want a new ECU as well as a new LSD and probably a new tranny and clutch...theres more money. Assuming this beast is fast enough, you're going to be *required* to have a complete roll cage to run legally at the track. More money. Then you'll probably need a full new set of brakes. More money. Assuming this is true, thats another BUTT LOAD of money that you probably didn't take into consideration.

You've gotta realize how much time, effort, and money is going into something like this before you just say "I wanna smoke some V8's!".

I'm sure I'm even missing about a 100 steps in this process, but this is just giving you a general idea of what you are getting into.

Default alot of $$ spent but alot of respect too!

I know it's going to cost alot of freaking $$ but that's what I'm going to do with this car, I was going to buy a 94 supra TT but I decided to buy a cheaper car so I can put more $$ to the performance. I;ve made up my mind and I am going turbo.
Here's my plans:

T-66 Turbo (Custom)
Built Block bored over .020-$3000???
JE Built Head-1500
lsd
and everything else I need to accomplish about 400-500whp I will show these #'s when I acomplish them, I am certain I will get there.

Ultimate sleeper!!

Yeah well go to JDMIntegra.com under the thread that says "The fastest street legal integras" adn you'll see a integra with a T-78!! quite abit bigger than a T-66 and it is street driven! He also has 656WHP with standard size pistons.

(Also making references to his 10 second post)

Umm... if you really want that fast, and you really have the money to mod that much out of the engine, I'd sell the teg and buy a mitsu 3000GT VR4 or a RX-7, then mod from there...

But if you really want a teg to be that fast, you better have a comfortable car to drive around town, because that thing will be impossible to drive anywhere but a drag strip.

And please, don't street race. Unless you pay some guy $15,000 to make sure your car is that fast AND controllable, you'll wrap yourself around a telephone pole.

If you want to play with the big dogs dont bother trying to go all motor on a ls. Save your money for a turbo kit. While you are saving, read up about it and by the time you have some moeny set aside, maybe you can make a custom kit. #1 rule of building motors is have a goal and a plan on how to get there. You rush into things, you're going to end up with a bunch of stuff you dont need anymore and will have to sell a big loss.
