Default Click sound when clutch is depressed

When I push the clutch all the way down, I hear one 'click' sound right when the pedal is almost at the floor, as if a contact or switch was just closed. It comes from somewhere around the clutch pedal, but I don't know where.

Anyone experienced this?

I experienced thesame, so I went to service and mechanic guy just lubricated spring in pedal mounting and click sound disappeared.
I also tought it was some elctrical switch problem, but luckilly it was just similar sound.

Hold the key in the "start" position, then press the clutch down. On my car, the click occurs at the point that the car starts.

Yes, there is a switch down there, for the starter interlock. Mine doesn't hardly make any noise. So check out the pivot pins & springs & stuff, too.

The click comes and goes. It's been like that for all 50K miles I've owned the car.
