i have a skunk2, had it on for around 7 months, the throw is alot shorter but its still stock height, so i cut mine alil, now its a super fast throw.

stay away from obx, they are ****, they rattle break and dont throw smooth.

That shift knob is probably about $50-$60. It comes in 3 weights. I got the 200 gram one, but it also comes in 300 and 400 gram versions (pretty heavy). The heavier the shift knob, the less effort it will take to shift. It is supposed to be adjustable height but I didn't like the way it adjusted so I threw out the insides, drilled holes in the knob and secured it to my shifter w/ setscrews. :thumbup:

Hey where did you all get you skunk 2 short shift? and how much was it? i am guessing ordering online would be the cheapest..

Hmm, anyone know of a shortthrow that is slightly shorter stock height?

I don't wanna cut one because my skunk2 shift knob is a screw on, not pin on like the MOMO ones.

i want a momo knob....but they are just too damm expensive...and besides...the stock knob is a perfect shape for me...


I think it was either the B&M or the skunk that people suggested not to get...

i just got done taking my B&M out because i was sick of the rattle. i installed the skunk2. it is better because there is no rattles and it has a bend in it like the stock one to bring the knob closer to you. the only bad think is the stock shift knob doesn't fit so know i have to pay 40 bucks for a knob.

you can get the rod retreaded.
