Default ABS plastic good? bad? ugly?

I've been looking for a lip for my integra. Aiming for a simple Wings West RS 2 vented air dam. Finding a used one for a decent price is tough. But I always run into ABS plastic ones, I assume there cheaper and must be a minus in quality control. So any opinions about that? Would it withstand your everyday bump?

Any Info would be great.
thanks,
Mike

i believe ABS plastic is what OEM lips are made from. if it's the material that i'm thinking of, they're not as flexible as urethane, but better than fiberglass.

They'd be able to withstand minor bumps and scrapes. But most likely would not withstand a full blow, or if the lip got ripped off the car. I've had my WW RS lip rip off my front bumper and got run over on the fast lane on the freeway. I went back for it to pick it up and the only thing that was damaged was the paint. That's the great thing about urethane. I doubt that an ABS plastic lip could withstand the exact same punishment...
