Default Better tires

Got some 195/50/r15's on my stock gsr blades, the launch is a little better, handling was not as good as what I was expecting, But that's ok how often do you race around a turn! So next I am planning on getting a new clutch, and I was wondering what the best stage one and stage two clutches are?

If this is going to be a everyday driver I would stay with the stage 1. This should give you more than enough grip for this type of driving but you could go with the stage 2 if you going to be spending a lot of time at the track. It really all depends on what your going to use it for.

I am planning on keeping it more of a street car, so what would be the best stage 1 clutch price and quality wise.

tsk tsk.. what a thing to say.. you realize it's a lot more cost effective to modify your teg for handling and not speed?

anyhow, you should have gotten 205/50/15 or 195/55/15; now your speedo is going to be off (even more so than at stock), as well as your milage. and the reason your launch feels better is because you're running a smaller tire, so you've changed your final drive ratio. the difference you feel is more to do with this change, and not so much to do with the tires.

my tegra can already do 116 around the biggest turn we have if i go any faster it would just be stupid. I had 195/55/15 before and they rolled to much, they felt like the tire was going to pop off the rim. I did not get the wider tire because it would not fit on the rim.

not knowing what the turn is like, that doesn't tell me anything about your handling capabilities.

if it really felt that way, i'd be more concerned with the brand tire you were running, your suspension setup, and/or simply the air pressure in your tires.

my setup: is coilovers dropped all the way with all around tokico blues front and rear upper strut bars, stock gsr lower sway bars. 195/50/15 and it hadles very well. The reason the tires rolled was because they are not low profile, I have had both and have experienced what it really feels like to have low profile and non low profile. I was not being serios about the tyre coming off the rim, it just feels like it.
