Default CAI sucked water into my engine...??

Huge rain last night, i was driving home from work... found out that her idle was horrible .. it stays at 1.1k and bounce 1.6 ~2k up and down...

what happened to my car?
now the car idles at 1k and still do the up and down thing but seems better than last night.

I pulled my CAi out, didn't see any water in pipe or TB but the filter was wet though.

I have a 2k GS

help me please

By the way, the car starts fine .. other than idle at 1k and goes up and down... everything seems pretty on track

is it an AEM CAI? if so then it should have or you should have got a "bypass valve" with it...this prevents water from getting in to the engine...idle on your teg should be at about 600-700 rpm at idle..the only time it is not is when you first start the car, then they tend to idle at or about 1k - 1.5k for a few minutes.

The rough idle should go away.

If you'd really sucked water into your engine (in any quanitity other than some droplets) you'd have heard a loud bang as your engine died, and you'd be picking piston pieces out of your oil pan today.

just change the spark plug and seems dry...
should i change the oil as well ... i just changed it 800 miles ago?
should i just wait till 3 to 4k? i use Sythetic oil in it so .. kinda costily

If you have water in the engine at all the best way to check it is to pull the oil dipstick out and see if you the oil looks watery or if you get any rainbow affect like oil on the ground.
