Hey All,
If you all remember my post a few days ago (https://www.honda-acura.net/forums/s...&threadid=5759), basically my tranny was making a clicking noise until last night, it went from *click* *click* click* to *click* *click* *!*!CRUNCH!*!*, and basically I couldnt even move after that, had enough momentum to pull over on a side street, and towed back to my house. I need to know whether I should rebuild the tranny along with a new clutch (I've been thinking about getting a centerforce for the past 6 months), or buy a used type R tranny, or go all out and get a spoon tranny? I'm getting a few quotes for all these different things, I was wondering if maybe someone could send me to some sites for prices for these things? I've just had a lot of bad luck with this car.

Try and diagnose the problem first, so you know exactly what needs to be done to remedy the problem.

Forget the Spoon trans BTW.

 

yeah find out what went wrong with the tranny
maybe its just your clutch going out, or something a little cheaper then rebuilding one or buying a different kind
