LS to GSR exhaust mods
Hello,
from what I understand, the GSR has a shorter CAT than the LS, thus a GSR catback would be TOO LONG for an LS... my question is, if I swap the LS's CAT w/ a GSR's, would the GSR's exhaust fit perfectly? Or would the CAT require mods to fit ? Thanks and hope it didnt sound too confusing...

u might have to change to a GSR header too...not sure, i forgot. but anyway, the cat bolts on fine. id say itd be cheaper just to get the GSR exhaust and have a muffler shop cut like 2 inches from the piping.

GSR header is also different length than the LS. You'd have to get all GSR parts for it to work without modification. All you have to do is take it to a muffler shop, tell them it's too long, and they should be able to put the exhaust up and take care of it. I think it's around 4" too long. I did this on my LS, I bought an Apex'i N1 for a GSR, because it was super cheap.
