Default First Mods on your car?

I am sure most of you have read my "First Car, OH JOY!" Thread due to I am almost 16. And I thought it would be cool to see what everyone else did on their first car, or first car they modded at all.

For me: Nothing
I am probably going to buy:
AEM Cold Air Intake
Euro Lights
Piaa Lights on the front
Radar of some sort (atleast that is what I've been told to get)\
Some sort of Lowwering Springs

But what can I say, first car; I need easy stuff to do.

Deffinately invest in a radar. Might save your ass in the long run!
I went with coilovers and new shocks as my first mod.

But honestly, If I were you I'd take it slow. Get to know the ins and outs of your car before you start modding it. Then when you do mod it you'll have a better idea of what changed and if the change was worth it.

well any ways my first car i ever modded...... well it's between a:

hardbody nissan 2wd

1) welded rearend (rearend from 78 datsun ("lower" gearing)
2) header
3) straight pipe from header to
a edlebrock rpm series muff. then
about a1 1/2 feet of flex pipe that eventually
turned down and away from body
4)tinted windows (doubled 5%tint)
5) k&n filter
i iked this one because i mostly built it for traight line and ripping the meanest doughtnuts and figure 8's i have ever done. and i go through alot of tire's of course. we used to steal used tires from tire shops and junk yards as well as my spare parts.(cost of truck 500 bones)

1985 ford ltd station wagon

1) tinted windows (5% mirror 5% black)
2) cut off exshaust 2 feet after cat and put a big glass pack just to anoy eveyone (eventually annoyed me)
3) at least 2 or 3 spare tire's in the back be cause i would always spin the tire's on that bishh  (yeah i know a damn stationwagon)

on this one i got for free and it was full of rust hole's. got it from my dad. :bigok:

well any ways it has to be between those two i dont know which one i got first.

drive it for at least a 1-1.5 years before you start modding it. and screw all that lighting crap.

Kauai, Ah; I am going to Japan soon, hope you like it there.

Reno: I remember you when I use to come to these forums along time ago to see everyone's tegs. Glad to see you. I really want to make it nice, so I won't go overboard. The lights would be cool but they are expensive.

Deluded: I havn't found one on the interent, but I don't exactly search alot. How much is a good radar? And yes, it will save my butt

I will be visiting basicly anything. It is next summer though, and then I am hoping to become a Foreign Exchange Student there. But their education is so high I will probably be placed in 3ed grade...

I love the Trains, that is how I am getting everywhere by the way.

I'm 17 and embarassed to say that my GSR is too fast for what I can handle. Like suggested before, wait a while before you start making it faster than it is... trust me, it's MUCH faster than you think. :driving:
