i say pay 10 buks for a sand blast..works amazing then paint it with high temp paint!

i was also wondering if it were possible or even worth it to do mit my self w/o having to buy a new cover in the color i wanted.

ne one who has done it post good and bad on it.

it sounds easy enouhgbut i dont want my baby to look like crap

If you send it to me In PA i can powder coat it almost any color you want and it looks awsome amnd lasts long. If you do not not choose to powder coat just dont paint it . It will look terrible. Email me if interested.

I powdercoat valve covers will last very long and looks great also you get a 3 month warranty. We do almost any color so if your interested sne dme an email.

Heres some pics of my valve cover that I painted myself. IMHO I think that I did a very good job.
