Default Best intake for Integra ? (custom)

Whats up guys.......I was cleaning my engine yesterday, and I couldn't help but notice, that with the removal and repositioning of the antifreeze reservior(?), and the right side high beam unit, you could have yourself a pretty good intake setup, going straight from the IM to the high beam hole.
I was just curious to know why more teg owners haven't done this because it seems so easy to do, and it is much better than having a short system (no engine heat), and a cold air system ( the entrance isn't near the ground, so you wouldn't risk picking up road debris or water, and you're directly exposed to oncoming cold air).
Have any of you guys seen anybody do this ? Are there kits out there for it ? How do you think it would affect the engine ?

I've seen a few ITR owners do this.

However, contrary to popular belief, the air pressure in front of the high beam is actually pretty low; I remember looking at a few tests online and thinking to myself how surprising the results were. So I'm not sure just how much cool air will be made available to the intake from just opening a hole in the high beam.

To my knowledge, there are no available "kits" out there for this specific application. You could look at the icebox DIY descriptions and fabricate your own solution to just route to the high beam I suppose.

yeah, I think I remember reading something like that; something about air pressure directly in front of an opening being lower, due to the air molecules bouncing off of the surfaces around the hole.....but the only thing is that if you think about it, aircraft use the same methodology, and it seems to work (e.g., jet fighters, with intake openings at the front of the plane). I know that they travel at a much faster rate, but shouldn't the same principle apply ? Then again, maybe it depends on the size of the opening.....
