Default Clutch ??

Whats up? going to need a clutch later. Was wondering if I choose a stage 1 can I have my oem flywheel resurface or I need another 1. Also someone told me I could use a ITR flywheel & it'll bolt right up to a 98 GSR. Of course if not expensive. Another thing with the slave & clutch master can I get it from other than the dealer

Thanks

The B series are interchangeable. I wouldn't waste my money with the type r flywheel. You can resurface your stock flywheel and use this clutch but if you have the cash I would get a lighter flywheel. You don't need to go super light. The one I posted is just under 10 lbs.

AcuraLsSe , so you don t have problems w/ the flywheel. Also does your car rev up faster w/ the lighter flywheel. Also did you go w/ the dealer clutch/master cyl or somewhere like advanced auto etc..
Good Looking Out for the info/website where you got yours from

Everything works fine. I couldn't see a big difference with the new flywheel But I can with the stronger clutch. I drag race on the weekends and my stock clutch fell apart so I needed something a little stronger. I haven't changed my clutch master cylinder, I say if its not broken don't fix it. Although if I was going to replace it I would go OEM.

I was just asking for experience because some say you lose torque & it revs quicker etc Just want to do everything right when its time.

Thanks

The only real difference with a lighter flywheel is that rpms rise and drop off faster; it doesn't change torque or anything else.
