Default What do you guys think about this setup

First off, i wanna say what's up everyone cause i'm new to this form. I don't know much yet about this fourm or HAN period. So bare with me. Well this is the setup i'm going to be getting in my car soon. I just wanted to know what you guys think and what should i get or not get.

GSR Block resleeved (Darton) and bored out to 84.5
Type R Head ported and polish with 5 angle valve job.
JE 12.5 - 1 compression
84.5mm cometic head gasket
Eagle Rods
Eagle crank (89mm)
Jun dual valve springs
Jun Titanium retainers
Jun Adjustable Cam Gears
Jun 3 Camshafts
SuperTech High Compression Nitride Valves
JG Edlebrock Intake Manifold ported and polish
Erick's Racing 70mm Throttle Body
Toda Racing Timing Belt and oil pump gear
AEM Fuel Rail and Regultor
RC 440 injectors
DC Sports 3" Intake
Hytech Header and Exhaust
and of course Hondata Stage 2

Tell me what you guys think. Everything i listed above, i pretty much already have except for the GSR Block, header and exhaust. Right now, i'm running a LS block .20 over with CTR pistons and shot peened rods. For the header and exhaust, i'm running IB modified JG edlebrock header with 2 1/2 inch collector and custom piping into a DC Sports muffler. Also what do you guys think this motor will dyno. I'm hoping for 240whp. That's only 35hp away from what i'm currently at.

, damn dude sounds mean . I demand pictures of the car the holds this beast. I think that 240whp is reasonable though, just test and tune it to a "T." Good luck man, let us know wha't sup. Sounds like a killer set-up though.

lol, I know exactly how you feel. A bunch of friendly replies that have no bearing whatsoever on the original topic...dangerously becoming more common in the Integra forum.

So basically you're saying you've reached 205 whp with an LS block + JUN3 valvetrain? Maybe I've been a bit behind with the whole scene, but that's damn impressive. However, whether you'll gain 35 whp will largely be dependent on how that expensive Hytech full-exhaust system performs. The whole notion of havin a custom fabrication is great, but people have been getting anywhere from 10-40 whp gains from adding on the Hytech system alone. 240 whp does sound a bit ambitious just from my experience with all-motor setups...check out canuck's 204 whp JUN3 B18C1 setup (of course you're making over this currently but just to show you where I'm coming from):

Is that a DAC intake?

This is unrelated, but that bent strut bar doesn't do one lick of good

yeah, i know that strut bar was only for show cause i started building a show car cause my car was a automatic LS and i didn't have the heart on making it go fast.

that's a dc intake with a akimoto filter. my K&N filter is pretty dirty and i use it when i put my cold air on.

Nice sig

You mind posting up a dyno of your 205 whp beast?

Reason I asked about the intake is that I'm not sure whether it'll be a bottleneck when you shoot for 240 whp.

Shingo

ps. A better response can probably be found by posting in the Engine Tech forum and/or private messaging the forum moderators.
