thanks everyone. the reason why i chosed 89mm is cause i want a little more torgue like i currently have with my LS. I was thinking about bigger but then reliability becomes an issue. I was told 95mm are great but only for the track and stuff. what size crank do you think i should get if not a 89mm DB7?

95 mm stroke doesn't like to rev that much is the main problem. Setup looks good...the next step could be to get some ITBs.

you already have a increased bore size of 84.5 which will put u just a bit over 2liters. i wouldve suggest maybe keeping the stock GSR crank. sure you will lose a slight of bit of displacement, but that is easily countered by the GSR's crank thatll let you rev up to 9k with no problems (since you also have new stronger rods). id suggest investing in ARP bolts as well to hold everything together nicely.

thats just my personal preference tho. i dont believe in stroking out honda engines. id rather have a tight stroke and a bigger bore.... but then again, i also care less about low end driveability

yeah i'm definatly getting arp rod bolts and head bolts. i don't believe in stroking honda motors myself, that's why i decided to stay with a ls stroke. i'm pretty sure that a 89mm crank could handle 9k revs, my stock ls does about 9200 right now. would you think that a stock gsr crank be more reliable in the long run?
