Default quick question

Sorry if this has been asked or if I'm just being an idiot But I was checking out some exhaust at the local dealership and they had a bolton exhaust system for the 98-2001 Integra that was a full catback and only 400 bucks. It wasn't namebrand but when compared to the GReddy and Comptechs it looked near identical. Now my question is, would it still work as good or atleast close because there really dosen't seem to be any physical differences. Thanks for all replies in advance

I would only go with a name brand exhaust, only beacuse MOST are known to give atleast somekind of power gain. You could easily lose power when installing a catback.

you should make sure the bends are mandrel bent (uniformally same size throughout all bends)
also you may want to hear how it sounds

Thanks guys, i'll be sure to check it out. I'll probably end up getting the comptech just because from what Iv'e seen and heard, it will be worth the cash.

400 bucks seems a bit expensive for a custom made exhaust. Best bet is to find a quality muffler that you like and find a shop to mandrel bend piping for you. It'll be cheaper and just as good as a name brand exhaust as long as its made properly.
